We’re halfway through April, St. Pete!

It’s been fun participating in the St. Pete coffee crawl — hitting some cafes we already love and discovering new ones. Reply and let us know if you’ve joined as well!

It’s a good week to be a local because the events are STACKED!

Now, in today's edition:

  • Clearwater Beach just got ranked #2 best beach in the USA

  • Caddy's Treasure Island is back and throwing a concert series

  • Tampa Bay Empanada Festival hits Derby Lane

  • Grand opening week for Easy Tiger Hi-fi lounge in the EDGE District

— Matthew & Ashley 🦩

Ps. We've got a poll for you to take part in below. Interested in your thoughts (might spark some debates 👀)!

🌊 The #2 Best Beach In The USA Is Our Very Own Clearwater Beach

Our backyard just got a major nod. Tripadvisor ranked Clearwater Beach #2 on their “Best of the Best Beaches” Awards.

It's also the #1 beach in Florida. For a stretch of sand that spent the last 18 months recovering from back-to-back hurricanes, this ranking says a lot about this community.

Clearwater Mayor Bruce Rector said it best: TripAdvisor rankings are based entirely on real traveler reviews, not editorial picks or paid placements. People came to Clearwater post-hurricane, had a world-class experience, and told the world about it. That's the whole story.

If you haven’t been to Clearwater Beach in a while, this is your nudge. White sand, turquoise water and a good time — only 30 minutes drive from St. Pete.

Curious which beach ranked #1 in the USA? La Jolla Beach, California!

🏖️ Caddy's Treasure Island Is Back

After 18 months of rebuilding, one of the Tampa Bay area's most beloved beach bars is officially back.

Caddy's Treasure Island — the original Caddy's, sitting right on Sunset Beach at 9000 W Gulf Blvd — held its ribbon-cutting ceremony last week and has kicked off its soft opening phase.

🏖️ And this Saturday, April 18th — they're throwing one heck of a welcome-back party.

Don't miss it: The Concert Series Kickoff Party is happening all day Saturday at Caddy's, headlined by Pirate Flag, with live music, DJs, drink specials, and limited-edition merch you won't find anywhere else. The event also kicks off a brand-new monthly concert series running all spring and summer — so this is just the beginning.

It's a completely new building, designed to bring back everything that made Caddy's the spot it was. They're currently running a limited food and beverage menu while the team settles in — the full menu is coming soon.

🏠 Real Estate in St. Pete

This 1925 Historic Kenwood bungalow is the kind of house that reminds you why people fall in love with St. Pete in the first place.

That yellow front door. Original hardwood floors. Ten-foot ceilings, a working fireplace, and a back deck with bougainvillea in bloom. Updated where it counts, intact where it matters.

Historic Kenwood means brick streets lined with oak trees. A short walk gets you to Grand Central's best restaurants, Cage Brewing, the Saturday Morning Market, and a SunRunner stop that goes downtown or straight to the beach.
